CMYK Poster Design

In Binghamton University’s ARTS 412 (Graphic Design 2) class, I explored the fundamentals of offset printing through the creation of dynamic movie posters. This project focused on understanding halftones—tiny dots that simulate shading and depth—by layering CMYK color channels (Cyan, Magenta, Yellow, and Black) to produce rich, full-color visuals. Using Photoshop transparency sheets to separate and align these layers, I demonstrated how individual colors combine to form cohesive images. The project culminated in an augmented reality presentation, blending traditional printing techniques with digital visualization to showcase the process and final designs.

Pipe Dream Design Assistant

As a Design Assistant for Pipe Dream, Binghamton University's student newspaper, I played a pivotal role in shaping the visual storytelling of both digital and print platforms. Collaborating with the design team, I contributed to crafting compelling layouts that captivated readers and aligned with the publication’s editorial voice. Additionally, I supported the growth of Pipe Dream's Instagram and website, creating eye-catching visuals that enhanced audience engagement. My work reflected a commitment to design precision and creativity, bringing stories to life through impactful visuals.
